The demand for this plastic surgery operation is relatively high as this defect causes severe complexes. The cartilage of the ear has excellent “memory” and always returns to its initial shape if it is deformed. The aim of this operation is therefore to abolish this mechanism in precise places.

Indication:

I operate on patients’ ears from the age of seven, but many people also have it done at an adult age.

Treatment:

There are many different techniques which are more or less effective. My technique allows the ears to be pinned back without creating abnormal contours and gives a natural result.
No one will be able to tell that the ears have undergone surgery.

In conclusion:

This is a minor operation that can be performed under local or general anaesthetic.

The results:

Case No. 1:

In this little girl, the defect is mostly due to the pinna of the ear which is not folded.

Case No. 2:

The ears can be very asymmetrical. In this case even the lobes were pinned back.

Case No. 3:

Large ears. It is particularly the middle of the ear that is too large. Very natural result.

Dr Pascal’s Message:

There are many small details to be corrected in ears and many beauty criteria to be followed. It is far from being a surgery for beginners.
